Julie Gardner is an executive producer for BBC Wales. She oversaw the production of the revamped version of Doctor Who from its beginnings in 2005 and will continue to do so until 2009, at which time she will be leaving the series. Gardner was also involved in the production of the Doctor Who spinoff Torchwood and the successful series Life on Mars.
