Jules Verne

Jules Verne was born in Nantes, France, February 8, 1828. He died March 24, 1905. Although he wrote many different types of stories (novels, short stories, and plays), he is best known for his scientific romances, in part because of the attraction of the many movies based on his writings.
His many works include:

- Paris in the 20th Century (written in 1863 but lost and not published until 1994),
