Judy Garland (June 10, 1922 Grand Rapids, Minnesota - June 22, 1969) was an American actor.
She starred in one of the most beloved fantasy films of all time, The Wizard of Oz. While she would continue to do musicals throughout her career, she did not return to other genre roles (except for providing a voice in Chuck Jones' Gay Purr-ee.
