José Larraz (b. 1929) Spanish director who, after working as a comics artist, moved to England via France during the late 1960s. Despite no formal training as a filmmaker, he directed a number of low budget sex and horror thrillers in the UK, including the cult favorite Vampyres (1974), before returning to Spain.
