Jonny Lee Miller (b. November 15, 1972, Kingston, Surrey, England) is an English actor. Miller is well remembered for his role in Trainspotting, and Hackers in which he starred alongside Angelina Jolie whom he later married and divorced. Miller performed in school plays in his youth and left high school at 17 to pursue acting professionally.
Miller made his television debut in the 1983 miniseries Mansfield Park. After a breakout performance in Hackers he appeared in his first genre feature, Dracula 2000. He followed up with appearances in Mindhunters, and Æon Flux. In 2006, he appeared in the short-lived series Smith and in 2007 took on another television series, the ABC drama, Eli Stone in which he plays the title role of a lawyer, who has visions that guide his choices.
