John de Lancie (March 20, 1948 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - ) is an American actor.
He is probably most associated with the role of Q, a very powerful alien that he played in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and other Star Trek media as well.
His genre career extends back into the 1970s, and includes appearances on The Six Million Dollar Man and the original Battlestar Galactica. He has continued to work into the 2000s, including recurring roles as Colonel Frank Simmons on Stargate SG-1 and as Odin on Charmed.
His voiced work has ranged from Duck Dodgers (in which he played Sinestro, Green "Loontern's" nemesis) to playing Jonny's dad on The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest.
