Jonathon "John" Locke is a fictional character on the series Lost played by Terry O'Quinn. He is a survivor of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. Locke is one of the series most interesting characters. He visited Australia for a walkabout but was denied the opportunity because he was a paraplegic, bound to a wheelchair. On his return to Los Angeles, the flight crashed and Locke mysteriously regained his ability to walk.

Before the crash

Locke was born on May 30, 1956 to Emily Annabeth Locke and Anthony Cooper. He was abandoned by his parents and found himself living in various foster homes.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
