John Hough

John Hough (b. November 21, 1941) British director who began his career in television with The Avengers (1961-1969) before concluding Hammer’s “Karnstein Trilogy” with Twins of Evil (1971). Following The Legend of Hell House (1973), he made several uneven films in America, including [[Walt Disney’s Escape to Witch Mountain (1975) and The Watcher in the Woods (1980), before returning to Britain to helm Biggles (1985), Peter Cushing’s final movie. His other credits include The Incubus (1982), American Gothic (1987) and Howling IV The Original Nightmare (1988).
