Joe Quesada (b. December 1, 1962 in New York City, New York) is an American comics writer and artist known for having created Painkiller Jane with Jimmy Palmiotti. Quesada also worked with Marvel Comics, revealing the history of the character Wolverine.

Raised in Jackson Heights Queens, Quesadada attended Newton High School and later the School of Visual Arts where he earned his Bachelors in Illustration. He first worked as a colorist with Valiant Comics and later did penciling work for DC Comics on Spelljammer.
