Jill Ireland

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Actor Jill Ireland was born April 24, 1936, in London, England, and died on May 18, 1990. To genre fans, she is probably most beloved for her portrayal of Leila Kolomi in the original Star Trek episode "This Side of Paradise" (Episode 25), in which she enjoyed the distinctive honor of being one of the few women to have successfully pursued and romanced the ever-repressed Mr. Spock. She also appeared in episodes of such series as Night Gallery ("The Ghost of Sorworth Place"), The Man From U.N.C.L.E. ("The Quadripartite Affair," "The Giuoco Piano Affair," and "The Tigers Are Coming Affair") and My Favorite Martian ("The Girl in the Flying Machine").

It's usually best to give a very general overview first, then specific details. When including the plot or essential details of a story in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
