Jerome Leon Bruckheimer (b. September 21, 1945, Detroit, Michigan) is an American film and television producer best known for his work in action and drama. Among his most popular productions are the CBS crime series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and its spinoffs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, Flashdance, American Giggolo and the blockbuster films Top Gun, Armageddon, Con Air and the Pirates of the Caribbean film trilogy.
