Jericho is a dramatic science fiction series about what happens when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon, plunging the residents of a peaceful Kansas town into chaos, leaving them completely isolated and wondering if they're the only Americans left alive. But in this time of crisis, as sensible people become paranoid, personal agendas take over and well-kept secrets threaten to be revealed, some people will find an inner strength they never knew they had and the most unlikely heroes will emerge.

The series premiered on the CBS Television Network in September 2006 and is executive produced by Jon Turtletaub, Stephen Chbosky, and Carol Barbee. The series was canceled after its first season but an organized fan campaign resulted in the series returning for a second season. Ultimately, the series was canceled a second time due to low ratings, airing its final episode on CBS on March 25, 2008.

The SCI FI Channel airs Seasons 1 and 2 of the series, debuting with a four-episode marathon on Monday, February 11, 2008, and moving to a regular Monday time slot in the following week. SCI FI will simulcast Jericho in HD on SCI FI HD.
