Jeri Taylor

Jeri Taylor (b. June 30, 1946) is a TV screenwriter and producer best known for her contributions to the Star Trek franchise as a writer and producer on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. Taylor was born in Bloomington, Indiana. She attended Indiana University and graduated with a degree in English. She earned her Masters in English from California State University at Northridge. Taylor is the mother of Alexander Enberg (with Dick Enberg) and Amy Elizabeth Moessinger (with David Moessinger). Enberg played Ensign Vorik on Voyager.

In addition to her work in the Star Trek franchise, Taylor has contributed to Quincy M.E., Little House on the Prairie, Salvage 1, Magnum P.I., and 'In the Heat of the Night.
