Jennifer Love Hewitt (b. February 21, 1979) is an American actress and singer born in Waco, Texas, to Pat and Danny Hewitt. She came to fame on the FOX series Party of Five as Sarah Reeves. After her parents' divorce, Hewitt, along with her older brother, Todd, was raised by her mother, in Harker Heights, Texas.
Hewitt began performing at age 3, and by 5 she was taking dance lessons.
Hewitt's genre appearances include the voice roles of Medusa in Disney's Hercules, The Magic 7, and The Adventures of Tom Thumb & Thumbelina. She appeared in the feature films The Devil and Daniel Webster, The Tuxedo with Jackie Chan, Garfield, and Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties. She currently stars in CBS's Ghost Whisperer as Melinda Gordon, a woman who can see and communicate with the dead.
