Jennifer Hailey is a fictional character on the series Stargate SG-1. She was first seen as a cadet at the Air Force Academy. Carter immediately recognized Hailey's potential not just as an air force officer, but also as a brilliant scientist. However, Hailey had discipline issues. In order to try and correct this, Carter brings Cadet Hailey through the Stargate to one of the SGC's offworld research sites. Hailey was later seen with other potential members of the SGC training under the tutelage of Colonel Jack O'Neill, who claimed to be about to fail them all until instituting one final test, a fake Foothold situation that was set up to test the potential members of the SGC.
