Jeff Fahey

Jeff Fahey (b. November 29, 1952, Olean, New York) is a prolific American actor who has appeared in a number of genre films. He is the sixth of his parents' thirteen children with seven brothers and five sisters. Following high school, Fahey decided to travel the world. He worked on a Kibbutz, ventured to India and traveled the Himalayas, Afghanistan and Alaska. He took various off jobs, including a turn as an ambulance driver in Germany.

He return to the United States in his twenties once again working various odd jobs, selling vacuum cleaners, and teaching ballroom dancing. After attending the ballet, he amazingly applied for and won the opportunity to dance with the Joffrey Ballet in New York City at twenty-five. Performing on stage eventually led him to acting and he began performing speaking roles and appeared on Broadway.

Fahey made his television debut on the soap opera One Life to Live in 1982. He worked on the soap for three years and also began producing off-Broadway plays at the Raft Theatre. He landed his first movie role as as Deputy Tyree in the movie Silverado starring Kevin Kline and Kevin Kostner. He has since appeared in numerous films, as many as five a year. His genre appearances include The Serpent of Death (1989) , The Lawnmower Man (1992), Johnny 2.0 (1998), Darkhunters (2004) and Manticore (2005).
