Jayne Ann Krentz nee Castle (b.March 28, 1948) is a New York Times best-selling American romantic suspense author. Krentz uses three pen names for three romance sub genres she writes in. Under the name Amanda Quick, she authors historical romantic suspense. Under her maiden name, Jayne Castle she writes futuristic and paranormal suspense and under her married name, Krentz, she writes contemporary suspense novels.
