Jayma Mays (b. July 16, 1979, Grundy, Virginia) is an American actress. Mays may be remembered by genre fans for her guest appearance on Heroes as Burnt Toast Diner waitress Charlie Andrews but she may be better known, again as Charlie, on the ABC series Ugly Betty.
Mays graduated from Radford University in Radford, Virginia with a degree in performing arts in 2001. She made her television debut on the sitcom Joey and followed up with guest spots on The Comeback, Six Feet Under, and How I Met Your Mother. She has also appeared on House M.D., Pushing Daisies and in the films Red Eye and Flags of Our Fathers.
