Jason Dohring (b. March 30, 1982, Toledo, Ohio) is an American actor best known for his role on the series Veronica Mars as wealthy troublemaker Logan Echolls. In 2007, he took on the role of vampire Josef Konstantin on the CBS series Moonlight.
Echolls was born to Neopets chairman Doug Dohring and wife Laurie. He got his start in entertainment along with his four younger siblings, two pairs of identical twins, Robert and Jonathan and Kelsey and Kristen Dohring, all child actors. His first roles were in commercials and he later began appearing on television. His early appearances include Prehysteria! 2, Baywatch, Picket Fences, Deep Impact,
Train Quest and Roswell. In 2007, he starred alongside Star Trek: The Next Generation actors Marina Sirtis and Michael Dorn in the film Deep Below.
