Jason Nathaniel Behr (b. December 30, 1973) is an American actor best known for his role on the series Roswell as Max Evans. Behr also appeared alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar in The Grudge as Doug.

Behr was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to David Paul behr and Patricia Ann Steiner. The family moved around in his youth but when his parents separated, Patricia and her sons resettled in Minneapolis. He graduated from Richfield Senior High School in Richfield, Minnesota. His acting career began after he ran into Marvin Dauer, a showbiz manager. He moved to Los Angeles where he began to appear in commercials and eventually landed guest appearances on Step by Step and his first series regular role on Sherman Oaks.

Behr made his genre debut in Alien Nation: Millennium. Other genre roles include appearances on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and a small role in the 1998 film Pleasantville. Recent roles include the TV movie The Way, Skinwalkers, and D-War. His upcoming roles include Senseless and The Tatooist.
