James Caan (b. March 26, 1940, The Bronx, New York) is an American actor. This tough-guy actor played an urban cop partnered with an alien in the original Alien Nation (1988) and the ghostly husband of Sally Field in Kiss Me Goodbye (1982). Caan's other genre appearances include The Dark Backward (1991), Dick Tracy (1990), Rollerball (1975), and Games (1967). Early in his career, Caan also starred in an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents ("Memo From Purgatory").
