James Bond is a fictional character created by author Ian Fleming. He is the central figure of a series of spy fi stories written by Fleming.
The Bond series of books and short stories inspired a series of James Bond films created by the MGM studio. The Bond films are the most valuable film franchise and as of 2006, has grossed more than $4 billion and more films than any other movie franchise.
