Jackie Chan (b. Kong-sang Chan April 7, 1954, Hong Kong) is an actor best known for his martial arts films. As a child, Jackie and family moved to Canberra, Australia. after an unimpressive beginning in Australian school, Jackie was sent back to Hong Kong where he was apprenticed to the China Drama Academy, an opera school where he trained in music, dance, and martial arts. In the early 70's, he was offered a small part in a film as a stunt player which launched his career in film. His first roles were in films starring famous martial artist Bruce Lee.
In 2008, Chan made his first appearance alongside fellow martial artist, Jet Li in 'The Forbidden Kingdom.
