Jack Asher (1916-1994) British cinematographer and colour expert, who began his career working for Gainsborough in 1930. He photographed The Curse of Frankenstein (1956) and several other seminal Hammer horrors, including Dracula (aka The Horror of Dracula, 1958), The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958), The Mummy (1959), The Brides of Dracula (1960) and The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll (1960).
