David Bourne Jr. (b. April 8, 1970) is a Canadian actor born in Toronto, Ontario. Always known as JR to his family, he is the youngest of three children with two older sisters. Kim and Kelly. Bourne began acting at 8, appearing in the series Parent Puzzle. Bourne first studied business before turning to acting. He studied at the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto and later made his film debut in Jungleground.
Bourne has made guest appearances in numerous genre series and may be best known for his role on Stargate SG-1 as the Tok'ra Martouf. Other genre appearances include appearances in Strange luck, The Sentinel, Millenniym, The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, Viper], The Outer Limits, Thir13en Ghosts , Jeremiah, Andromeda, Century City, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Severed The Dead Zone, The Butterfly Effect 2, and Superstorm. Other notable roles include a recurring role on Cold Squad, and Godiva's, and Madison.
