It's About Time was a 1966 comedic TV series created by Sherwood Schwartz. The series aired on CBS during the 1966 – 1967 season. It was not renewed for the second season due to low ratings.

The series concerned two astronauts who break the speed of light and are thrown back in time to Earth's prehistoric past. They make friends with a a family of cave men. Following a stint of low ratings, the series changed direction and the astronauts return to 1966 with the cave family. The plot then focused on their adjustment to life in the modern age.
