Isaac Asimov Presents The Great SF Stories 5 (1943) is the fifth book in the Isaac Asimov Presents The Great SF Stories anthology series from DAW books. This volume includes an overview of the major events of the year 1943, both inside and outside the world of science fiction, and then presents what editors Martin Greenberg and Isaac Asimov considered the twelve finest short stories from the year, each preceded by a brief comment from each of the two editors.
