Into the Fire is the season two opener of Stargate SG-1. It is the second part of a two-part episode beginning with in the season two finale "Out of Mind"

Plot

Jack O'Neill, Samantha Carter, and Daniel Jackson try to escape from Hathor's facility. Teal'c is determined to rescue them and the SG team led by Colonel Makepeace sent after them. Hammond is unable to convince the Pentagon that sending reinforcements is worth the risk. He goes to extraordinary lengths to ensure the team's safe return.
