I Walked With a Zombie is a 1943 horror film directed by Jacques Tourneur. Set in the West Indies, the film starred Frances Dee as a Canadian nurse, Betsy who visits the home of a plantation manager Paul Holland, (Tom Conway) to care for his ailing wife. When she falls in love with Paul, Betsy becomes determined to cure his wife Jessica (Christine Gordon) even if she must resort to Voodoo to accomplish it.
