I-Man is a Disney Sunday movie which aired on April 6, 1986.

Plot

A cab driver is exposed to a mysterious gas and soon learns he is able to heal just about any wound (he is shot soon after the gas exposure) and has become "indestructible". Unfortunately for him, if he is in total darkness his cells will die, along with the rest of him (he finds this out when the doctor who has been testing his blood keeps finding all of his cells in the petri dishes die after she pulls them out of the freezer or whatever dark place she was keeping it) Later he becomes a secret agent and must retrieve a stolen laser.
