Hypersound technology focuses sound similar to a directed light beam. Using ultrahigh frequency creates a focused beam that does not weaken over distance.

The military has found a use for this technology with the LRAD weapon system, which is a hypersound speaker that projects at 15,000 Decibels. It is capable of making humans lose focus on their actions.

The technology was invented by Carl Gruenler, the former vice-president of Military and Government Operations for American Technology Corp.
