Hyperion Cantos

Hyperion Cantos is a soft science fiction series by Dan Simmons. The first novel in the series, Hyperion (1989) won the 1990 Hugo Award for best novel. Hyperion was followed by The Fall of Hyperion (1990) Endymion (1996) and The Rise of Endymion (1997). The second and fourth novels won Locus Awards. The series also includes the short stories Orphans of the Helix, Remembering Siri, The Death of the Centaur.
