Hyperdrive is a science fiction comedy TV series written by the team of Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil for the BBC. It is scheduled to premier on BBC America January 19, 2007.

Set in the year 2151, the British government has set up the Space Force and launched a fleet of space ships to explore the galaxy in the typical British Way: with a stiff upper lip (and regular tea breaks).

Unlike the Star Trek's Enterprise, Hyperdrive's HMS Camden Lock has a mission to "Export all things British" throughout the galaxy. This includes such things as overpriced supermarkets, housing projects and call centers.
