Hulk is a 2003 superhero film based on the character of the Incredible Hulk comics created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Ang Lee directed Eric Bana in the title role with Jennifer Connelly, Sam Elliott, Josh Lucas and Nick Nolte rounding out the cast. The film chronicles the history and transformation of scientist, Bruce Banner into the giant green creature known as Hulk. Reviews for the film were mixed and the film was criticized for failing to meet audience expectations and being overly introspective and melancholy. A second film The Incredible Hulk is in development for a 2008 debut with an all new cast.
