Henry Deacon is a fictional character on the series Eureka portrayed by Joe Morton. Henry is among many of the town's geniuses who do not work at the Global Dynamics facility at the beginning of the series. He serves as the town's mechanic and all round go-to guy for all technological problems. If there is something wrong, Henry will know how it works and how to fix it.

Spoiler Warning: Plot details and/or information about the ending follow. If you wish to enjoy the work first, stop reading here and return at another time.

Despite his enormous contributions to the town, Henry became increasingly disenchanted with life in Eureka and the direction of the town ("Purple Haze"). He considered leaving, which quite possibly had to do with an earlier incident in which he discovered that memories of important portions of his life, and the woman he loved, Kim Anderson, were taken from him by Jason Anderson ("before I Forget". He decided to stay on in Eureka only to eventually lose Kim to an accident involving a mysterious artifact. Henry used the artifact's power to alter time and change things to bring Kim back. It worked and the town and its residents settled into a lovely future until time and space began to unravel because of Henry's meddling ("Once in a Lifetime") .

Sheriff Jack Carter was able to go back in time and stop Henry from saving Kim but in the process they both lost their relationships with the women in their lives. Henry erased Carter's memories of their former future life and took a job at Global Dynamics to continue Kim's research. His investigations led him to realize Dr. Beverly Barlowe played a part in Kim's death. He also was led to understand that Allison Blake's son, Kevin had become connected to the "Artifact". ("All That Glitters") Henry and Nathan Stark worked together to separate Kevin from the Akashic Field but Henry was later arrested for his activities in creating a false biohazard situation inside GD. ("A Night at Global Dynamics")
