On the series Stargate SG-1,Hebridan is a technologically advanced planet inhabited by humans and an alien species the Serrakin and their joint descendants. The Serrakin rescued humans enslaved by the Goa'uld and have since lived together peaceful. Their society bears many similarities to Earth but corporate dominance is more complete on Hebridan. The Tech Con Group, a massive conglomerate, is the most dominant corporation on the planet with interests from death services to space craft construction. Tech Con Group sponsors and annual space race known as the The Loop of Kon Garat held within the Hebridan solar system.
