Hazel Court (b. February 10, 1926 Birmingham, England - April 15, 2008) Red-haired British leading lady and former Rank starlet. She made her movie début in 1944 and brought a strong independence to her roles in a number of horror films for Hammer and Roger Corman in the late 1950s and early ’60s, including The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), The Raven (1963) and The Masque of the Red Death (1964). She married actor/film director Don Taylor (1920-1998) and moved to America to become a sculptor.
