Harvey Korman

Harvey Korman (February 15, 1927 Chicago, Illinois - May 29, 2008) was an American actor and voice artist.

Best known for broadly comic pompous characters, Korman became familiar to mainstream television audiences as one of the players on the Carol Burnett Show, often paired with Tim Conway. Big screen comedy fans also know him for his work with Mel Brooks (particularly in Blazing Saddles).

However, BCB (Before Carol Burnett) he had a well-remembered recurring role as the impish alien, The Great Gazoo, on The Flintstones.

He was a popular guest star, appearing on The Munsters (in three different roles!) and The Wild, Wild, West.

He would return to genre work throughout his career, especially as a voice artist. His work continued into the Nickelodeon era, appearing on The Wild Thornberrys and Hey Arnold!
