Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth film in the Harry Potter film series based on the J.K. Rowling novel of the same name. Now entering his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry returns to school with unexplainable dreams and a belief that Voldemort has returned, though no one believes him. He must also put up with the newly appointed Dark Arts Teacher, the nasty Dolores Umbridge.
The film was directed by David Yates and written by Michael Goldberg and proved to the seond most successful Harry Potter film to date, allowing the Franchise to surpass Star Wars and James Bond as the most profitable film franchise. The film has taken in over $920 million world-wide. Two more films are slated to follow, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
