Habitable zone

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

The Habitable Zone is classified as the habitable part of a solar system that is neither too far for light to travel or for the heat of the sun to reach within a certain amount of time. A planet usually falls within a measurement called an AU or Astronomical Unit from the sun. The Earth is 93 million miles away from the sun. The usual range for the typical habitable zone for a human-like race would be between .75 AU and 1.5 AU.
