Gremlins 2: The New Batch is a 1990 comedic fantasy sequel to the 1984 hit film Gremlins. Zach Galligan returns as Billy Peltzer and Phoebe Cates plays girlfriend Kate Beringer. The two have moved to New York where they both work for media mogul, Daniel Clamp (John Glover). In the sequel Gizmo is captured for experiments and again gets wet. Gremlins begin taking over the city and Billy and Kate must find a way to stop them.


The movie utilized a variety of scifilebrities and pop culture figures. Tony Randall provided the voice of Brain Gremlin, and Howie Mandel and Frank Welker voiced others. Cameos included Kenneth Tobey, Hulk Hogan, Leonard Maltin, and Henry Gibson.
