Gigi Edgley <span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>  Gigi Edgley (November 16, 1977–) is an actress and singer known as a result of playing the character Chiana on the SCI FI Channel's hit series Farscape. Edgley has a BA in theater from the Queensland University of Technology. She is proficient in martial arts and dancing, and is known for her skill in fire-twirling. Edgley has appeared in the popular Australian TV series Water Rats, The Secret Life of Us, and Stingers. Her latest acting work includes appearances in BlackJack: In the Money and BlackJack: Ace Point Game. Her most recent singing work includes the release of a single called "Poison," which is available on her official Website.
FarscapeEdgley's character in Farscape, Chiana, is a nefarious young Nebari on the run. She joins the crew of Moya, most of whom are also fugitives. Moya eventually becomes Chiana's home, and she falls in love with her fellow crewmember, Ka D'Argo. In the show, John Crichton (Ben Browder) often calls Chiana "Pip." This is Browder's real-life nickname for Edgley. Jool often calls Chiana "Miss Monochrome," which rudely points out the skin color of Nebaris.
