The Ghosts of Thailand were investigated by the Destination Truth team.

The village of Dansai in northeast Thailand reportedly is haunted by a gang of ghosts believed to be responsible for the deaths of at least 10 people. The ghosts are said to be capable of taking on many forms, including a flesh-and-blood human, a translucent specter, a glowing red light in the sky, or sometimes simply a disembodied voice.

Their legend attracts throngs of tourists to Dansai during the Phi Ta Kon ("ghosts with human eyes") festival, when locals don ghostly masks and costumes and roam the streets posing for photographs. Few outsiders have ever reported seeing one of the supernatural entities, however.

The popular tale of the ghost Nang Naak (or Nang Nak) has been dramatized many times, and most people in Thailand are familiar with it.
