Ghost in the Shell

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Ghost in the Shell is an anime movie. Its sequel is Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. It also spawned an animated TV series known as Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex. The second season of the anime series Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex is called 2nd Gig.

The third installment of the films is coming in the fall of 2006. It differs as this will continue with the Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex storyline, taking place two years after the series. Reports suggest that Togusa has taken over Section 9, while the Major is doing contract work for the government.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
