Ghost Town is a 2008 comedy directed by David Koepp and written by Koepp and John Kamps. Ricky Gervais stars as a socially inept man, Bertram Pincus, who has a near death experience during a colonoscopy. Revived, seven minutes after his sudden death, Pincus awakens to an annoying new ability to see ghosts. Worst yet, they all seem to want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear) who wants Pincus to break up the pending marriage of his widow Gwen (Téa Leoni).
