Genesis of the Daleks

Genesis of the Daleks is a story from the 12th season of long-running program Doctor Who. It first aired in Britain as a six episode serial beginning on March 8, 1975. In the United States, the serial was distributed to various PBS stations in 1978.


Synopsis

The transmat beam that the Doctor, Harry and Sarah used to return to the TARDIS at the end of "The Sontaran Experiment" is intercepted by the Doctor's Time Lord superiors. Finding himself once again on the war torn surface of the planet Skaro, the Doctor is confronted by a representative of the Time Lords, who informs the Doctor that the Time Lords now forsee a time when the Daleks will pose a threat even to Gallifrey itself. They therefore instruct the Doctor to intervene in the creation of the Daleks, either altering their development so that they evolve into more moral creatures or halting their creation altogether.

Can the Doctor stop the plans of meglomaniacal Dalek creator Davros before his arch enemy rises once more?
