Gene Wilder (b. June 11, 1933, Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an Academy Award-nominated American actor known for his appearances in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, The Producers, Young Frankenstein and his comedic films opposite Richard Pryor Silver Streak, Stir Crazy, See No Evil, Hear No Evil, and Another You. Wilder also wrote and directed the film Haunted Honeymoon.
