Gavin Scott (b. 1950) is a prolific screenplay writer, and producer of television series and movies. He has penned many science fiction and fantasy titles. His genre works include Legend of Earthsea, a 2004 Sci Fi Channel miniseries, The Mists of Avalon a 2001 miniseries for TNT, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne a 2000 TV series for Sci Fi Channel and the CBC, Small Soldiers a 1998 movie, The Borrowers a 1997 movie, three episodes of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and Space Rangers a 1993 TV Series.
