Gary Wassner

Gary Wassner (b. January 8, 1952, New York City) is a fantasy and children's book author. Wassner is a graduate of Harpur College of Arts and Sciences where he eared a Masters Degree in Philosophy with a concentration in ethics and 19th Century Continental Philosophy. Wassner is particularly influenced by his study of the works of German philosopher Nietzsche and uses this influence to shape the characters of his novels. He has written several works of epic fantasy, using traditional fantasy creatures such as elves, and dwarves.

Wassner is currently the President and senior partner of Hilldun Corporation, a commercial finance company in New York City where he lives with wife Cathy and sons Brien, Cristopher and Cole.
