Galactica 1980 is a short-lived television series spun off from the 1978 series Battlestar Galactica. The series was created by Glen A. Larson and aired on ABC for only ten episodes before being canceled.

Plot

Galactica arrives on Earth but discovers the planet is not advanced enough to aid in the battle against the Cylons. Having exposed the planet to Cylon attack, they must help the planet become more advanced to save themselves.
